Charlotte (Charly) was born on January 14 at 10:24 (i think). She weighed a whopping 8 lbs. 9 ozs (which is bigger than any of my babies). She is beautiful! I.Am.In.Love. I had no idea how instantly I would fall in love with this darling little one. I didn't see her until she was a week old when I flew out to Virginia, and when I set eyes on her, it was love at first sight! She had a little bit of a rough start and was dehydrated and ended up in the ER just the day after she got home. She was a little human pin cushion but she took it like a champ.
I had a wonderful two weeks with Holli, Matt and Charly. We didn't do much but take care of the baby, all of us! I forgot how much work they are when they are first born. But I loved it! Every minute of it, even at 12:00 a.m., 3:00 a.m., and 6:00 a.m. LOL I tried to memorize everything I could about her to tide me over for a few months. Being a long distance "Nana" will be challenging. There's not a day that goes by that I don't miss my little Charly, but I have some great ideas for keeping us close! And the good news is that Matt's sister Nikki, was kind enough to choose to be married in Salt Lake in April so Matt, Holli and Charly will be here for a visit and we will be blessing her in our ward! How great will that be?! Both sets of families here to honor and love that little girl! I can't wait!
Holli made this cute flower on Charly's headband. So much fun to accessorize!
Brinn Willis (Holli's friend) did a fabulous photo shoot with Charly and her parents.
To see more of Brinn's work go to www.bmwphotography.blogspot.com
I took a "few" pictures too!
Love the boppy! Holli made two interchangeable covers so they can be washed when one gets dirty...
Sooooo tired!
The happy family

The Baby Shower!

I made vases out of canning jars by spray painting the metal rims and adding a hair clip with a little paper flower glued on. There were nine "vases" with progressive pregnancy photo's and feminine pink and white flowers.
The paper flower garland was cute! I got the inspiration for the colors from Holli's nursery colors. It tried to match them as best as I could. I cut the flowers with my cricut, so easy!
Cute little wooden blocks with mod podged words on them.
Goblet lamps made with paper and photo montage of maternity photo's taken by Brinn Willis who is Holli's friend in Virginia! Great job Brinn!
The spread!
We served brunch: Breakfast casserole, muffins, cinnamon rolls, orange juice etc...but we had to add in some delectable chocolate accents!
Nut cups also made with my cricut.

Day 13-A letter to someone who has hurt me recently
wow, this is a tough one. I really don't want to put something THAT personal on here, however, my grandpuppy Moe hurt me recently.
Dear Moe:
Grandma loves you so very much and has since the first moment I clapped eyes on you sitting in the front seat of the car. However, little Moester...Please stop biting my ankle as I walk by you! It hurts bad!!!!!!
Love Always,
Grandma!

Day 12-How I found out about Blogger and why I have one
I can't honestly say how I found out about Blogger, but I decided to create a blog when my kids kept asking me for my recipes. And thus it began. Now I have several blogs (which I'm thinking of combining soon). There is this one (Dobby's Delights),Lovin' From the Oven, Macey's Flower Fun, Domestic Diva Aprons and Pocket Full of Posies. Whew, yeah, it's probably time to combine some of them!
Day 11-Another Picture of Me and My Friends
Oops, I got behind with all of the halloween festivities. So I'll do a few posts today. Do sisters, cousins, daughters and nieces count as friends? Well heck yeah! Here we are at Bear Lake taking a break from our crafting at our Craftapalooza girls weekend! L-R Kim (cousin), Me, Julie (I'm counting her as a sister), Kali (niece), Erin (daughter), Darcy (sister), Lynette (niece).

day 10- songs you listen to when you are happy, sad, bored, hyped, mad
Hmmm....Songs I listen to...It depends on what is on the radio at the time. But if I'm sad and a depressing song comes on, I change the station. I mostly love upbeat songs like: Pocket Full of Sunshine, I like John Denver songs whenever. I like songs like Jump for my Love or Celebrate Good Times by the Pointer Sisters when I'm cleaning. It keeps me moving!
